Forthcoming IOP Conferences

Accompanying persons programme

Edinburgh and the surrounding areas are great to explore to discover the history, scenery and excitement of Scotland.

Many visitors are more than happy to discover the delights of Edinburgh by themselves, however I would like to extend the offer for you to join me for some informal outings that I hope will show off some of the best attractions in and around Edinburgh. The following itinerary is only a suggestion. I have assumed that most people will want to visit Edinburgh Castle with their Partner and therefore I have deliberately left it out. I’m more than happy to add it in if there is enough demand.

There will be two meeting points in the morning, one at Heriot-Watt University (conference venue) and one at Waverley Station. Exact location and time to be confirmed – so please contact me via the e-mail address below if you are interested in being involved with any of these trips. Travel from Heriot-Watt to city centre is by bus costing £1.20 each way, however a saver ticket is available.
